An Unbelivable Friendship between a Vizsla Dog and a Wild-Adopted Raccoon

It is common sense that raccoons and dogs are unlikely to be friends. Dogs sometimes chase raccoons and hurt them. But some breeds of dogs not only show friendliness to their owners but also to their wild neighbors, even raccoons. One of them is Waffle, a two-year-old Hungarian vizsla. The videos showing her friendliness to a raccoon friend recently went viral on the Internet. She is adorable, wealthy, playful, and friendly.

Waffle is a perfect family dog for college professor Bethany Swindle and the dog has been with her family for almost a decade.

“Waffle loves everybody, she is a clown, she’s full of energy all the time. She is part kangaroo, I think. She is always jumping and she’s just happy all the time”, said Professor Bethany.

Waffle has a rather unusual best buddy. A three-year-old raccoon named June. June became an unexpected member of Bethany’s Family when she fell out of the tree as a one-week-old kid.

“We found her outside. She was at the bottom of a big oak tree. She was crying but we left her because we hoped her mom would come get her.” Fell hour later when June’s mother did not come up, Bethany felt compelled to act. After finding that June’s mother had been hit by a car, the professor decided to adopt June to her family.  Because of that, Professor Bethany Swindle adopted June to be one of her family members.

You might worry that Waffle and June would fight each other but it is not the case. Since June was adopted, they have made friend with each other and always follows as they have been in a close relationship for a long time.

June loves sleeping in the closet and playing with Professor Bethany Swindle and Waffle on Bethany's bed. It is so strange for a wildlife animal like her, isn't it? It seems like the love from Waffle and Bethany's family has domesticated her in a few months.

Check out their astonishing video to see how adorable they are!!!

And June Hungarian Vizslas is an outstanding dog breed for being a family member. They are very energetic, gentle-mannered, loyal, caring, and very affectionate and they quickly form close bonds with their owners and children.

Let's give it a try to have one.
