Stranger’s Compassion Towards a Wounded Dog on the Streets: A Heartwarming Tale of Love and Kindness

 The Vietnamese social media community was abuzz this morning (May 20) with a heartrending story of a poor dog that was struck by a car on Vo Chi Cong Street in Hanoi. MC Nguyen Minh Ha shared the story on social media to help locate the owner of the dog. According to her account, while on their way to the airport at around 4:30 a.m, her family saw the dog being hit by a car and dragged it to the side of the road. 

When they returned, the dog was still there, lying on the ground in agony. Despite efforts to locate its owner, they were unsuccessful. MC Minh Ha posted the story online, hoping that the community could come together to find the dog’s owner as soon as possible.


Minh Ha not only shared the story of a dog in need on her personal social media page but also reached out to members of dog and cat lovers associations via Facebook to receive help as soon as possible. 


Thanks to the power of the online community, the story and image of the dog quickly spread throughout Vietnamese social media networks, with everyone hoping that the dog would soon be rescued and find a truly loving owner. 


Fortunately, Hanoi Pet Rescue was able to pick up the dog and take it to their rescue center where doctors found that the dog’s spinal cord was touched by the strong impact of the car and needed continued monitoring and treatment. 


While netizens were happy and relieved that the poor dog was promptly rescued, they couldn’t help but express anger towards heartless individuals claiming to be the dog’s owners who wanted to bring it back for slaughter. 


Despite the anger, Minh Ha shared that the dog has now been placed with people who genuinely want to help and love it.
